CHCC - BH: Community Support & Training

CHCC provides trainings and workshops for those interested in suicide prevention, youth mental health, and substance abuse prevention.

  • Suicide Prevention (offered by GLS Youth Suicide Prevention Program

    • ASIST - Applied Suicide Intervention; 2 day course​

    • Basic Gatekeeper - Question, Persuade and Refer; 90 minute training

  • Youth Mental Health

    • Mental Health First Aid. Youth and adult curriculum offered; 8 hour course for each ​curriculum for adults only

    • Building the Parent Mental Health Toolkit; 90 minute training

    • Self-care; 90 minute training

  • Substance Abuse Prevention Service Unit (SAPSU) 

    • Pacific Jurisdiction Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (SAPST)

    • Prevention Ethics

    • Substance Abuse Prevention Presentations

    • Alcohol/Underage Drinking

    • Awareness on Prescription Durgs Misuse/Abuse

    • Illicit Drugs (Marijuana, Meth, etc)

    • Community Readiness Survey (CRS)

    • Strategic Planning/Logic Model

    • Synar Survey Inspections & Merchant Education Workshop

Please note that all requests must be submitted no less than 2 weeks in advance, but preferably 4 weeks prior to anticipated service request date. All requests are subject to approval. Fill out request form here.
